Just a "port de bras"

I think that for a dancer "Port de bras" is one of the most powerful and communicative movements, emotionally and aesthetically.

Many times I felt the message of a "global hugging the world" by some dancers with their movements .... a power and an energy that give the world still the desire to dream ...

I will never play for a port de bras obvious and not interesting music ... on the contrary ... I'll always try to play the best music, the best melody I can, because music has to have the same emotional power and the same communication to hug the world too, with a shiny sound ...

Never a dancer has to move for nothing.. like never sound will come out from the piano for nothing ... That's the essence of being artists ...

Un semplice "port de bras"...

Penso che per un danzatore il "Port de bras" sia uno dei movimenti più potenti e comunicativi, emotivamente ed esteticamente.

Molte volte mi è capitato di percepire il messaggio di un "abbraccio globale al mondo" da alcuni danzatori coi loro movimenti....una forza ed un energia che donano al mondo ancora la voglia di sognare...

Mai potrò suonare per un port de bras una musica banale...al contrario...cerco sempre di suonare la miglior musica, la miglior melodia possibile, perchè la musica deve avere la stessa potenza emotiva e la stessa comunicazione per abbracciare anche lei il mondo con un suono lucente...

Mai si deve dare un solo movimento per scontato...come mai un suono uscirà dal piano in maniera banale...è l'essenza dell'essere artisti...

I'd like to give you some informations so you can have a complete idea of my work..

Currently there is a series comprising 15 CDs I sell directly by myself:


MUSIC FOR CLASSICAL BALLET CLASS - SERIES 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, 8 with music composed and played by me.

The level is to rise from SERIES 1 to SERIES 5 up, SERIES 6 is again for elementary/intermediate level. SERIES 7 is again for Intermediate/advanced level.
SERIES 8 is the last I recorded and it's for an Intermediate/advanced level.

In them there is a complete work for the ballet class, (including a complete pointe work section).

2 CDs FOR KIDS:

CHILDREN'S WORLD - complete lesson for children (plus a first part devoted to exercises for rhythmic and floor), with the music of Disney cartoons, italians famous songs etc -

and CHILDREN'S BALLET CLASS-lesson for children with music composed by me (also useful for very young children)

FAMOUS SONG FOR CLASSICAL BALLET (complete ballet class with famous music took from pop music, musicals, film music, Latin American, etc. ..)

PIANO SONGS - for contemporary and classical choreography.

PIANO SONGS 2 – Pure music, for classical and contemporary dance choreographies

"MIA PER SEMPRE" – PIANO SONGS 3 (the same as n.2)

NOCTURNES – Pure music for listening and relaxing (and also for creating choreographies)

CDs for ballet class contain from 38 to 58 tracks. CDs with pure music and for choreographies contain 16/17 tracks.

I send my cds by internet as music files (wave or mp3) with all the covers.

In any case, if you want to have the traditional cd I can record it because I have the masters.

The CDs cost 25 euro each (plus shipping charges in case of traditional CDs)

THE MUSIC COMPOSED FOR BALLET CLASS

Nowadays I think it's time to elevate the music composed for the ballet class at a higher level. 

I firmly believe that music composed for ballet class should always be "beautiful" or, to say it better, as beautiful as possible, depending on the taste and sensibility of the composer and the best possible for the technical needs and for the expressive message of the steps. 

High quality music, full of rhythm, beautiful melodies and passion, with a lot of different sound levels and atmospheres.

I am referring to music specially composed for ballet class and not taken from ballet repertoire or famous music simply revived from the pianist. That is fine but has nothing to do with this speech.

So I think it's time to make a cataloging of music specially composed for ballet class and organize a new "literature", a story and a specific repertoire.

LA MUSICA COMPOSTA PER LE LEZIONI DI DANZA

Penso sia arrivato il momento di elevare la musica composta per la lezione di danza ad un livello più alto.
Credo fermamente che la musica composta per la lezione debba essere sempre "bella", o meglio più bella possibile a seconda del gusto e la sensibilità di chi la compone, e la migliore possibile per le esigenze tecniche e per il messaggio espressivo dei passi. Musica di qualità, ricca di ritmo, di bella melodia e passione, con differenti livelli di suono e di atmosfera.

Mi riferisco a musica composta appositamente e non musica presa dal repertorio dei balletti o musica famosa di vari stili semplicemente riproposta. Quella va bene ma non rientra in questo discorso.

Credo sia arrivato il momento di fare una catalogazione della musica composta appositamente e dare vita ad una "letteratura", una storia ed un  repertorio specifico.
